The Piedmont Division serves the Atlanta, Georgia area within the Southeastern Region of the National Model Railroad Association. The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading.
Each year, the Piedmont Division sponsors four hands-on Boy Scout merit badge days in the Atlanta area’s leading railroad museums. To date, the Piedmont Division has helped more than 750 scouts earn the Railroading Merit Badge.
If you are a scout leader interested in accompanying your scouts through our program or a scout with an interest in railroading, please contact our Boy Scout Merit Badge Chairman at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pre-registration is required to attend a session.
