British Railways Waterloo to Wessex Line
The Waterloo to Wessex Line, part of the Southern Region of British Railways, is an HO/OO single level “point-to-point” layout with hidden areas to provide continuous operation. You will have the opportunity to see an OO layout set in the English countryside with English steam engines with express Pullman passenger cars, slow commuter passenger trains, and various “goods” trains (freight trains) operating between Waterloo in London and the southwest coast of England. The layout is now almost complete with approximately 90% of the scenery complete with a variety of English village and country scenes, including stations, churches, gardens, allotments, farms, village streets, canals, and pubs. Although a layout is never ever complete, the British Railways layout is now 99% complete.

You will also be able to see the start of a brand new layout in another room of the basement. Although not officially named, this layout is two levels with the major emphasis on operation. It will be Union Pacific operating in very scenic locations in Wyoming and Colorado. You will be able to view more conventional benchwork, a large helix, and a brand new layout in "early development mode”.
