Alan Mole's Mole Valley Railway

The Mole Valley Railway is  an On30 railroad set in the American Northwest in the 1940s and 1950s and housed in a 33' x 15' room.

The Mole Valley enjoys various industries such as mining, oil exploration, fishing, agriculture, wine, and the Molehaven Cooperative for agricultural and fishing produce. Water scenes abound including an operating lighthouse (model of the Rock Harbor lighthouse in Lake Michigan) and main dock area, as well as a drilling scene, mining operations with switchback up to the mine, and much more!

Buildings include kits and scratchbuilt structures.  The backdrop is hand-painted on fascia board.  Scenery is 75% complete.  Trains run  on Code 83 track and are operated with Digitrax and Engine Drive w/Raspberry Pi.

If you are interested in visiting the Mole Valley, contact the Piedmont Division Director of Operations at sbandogeorgia@comcast.net  no later than 9pm, Saturday May 18.  You will receive directions to the layout.
