- Q: What is a good way to make pipe and plumbing, as well as conduit on a model railroad?
- A: Our team of experts suggests that you can start with the Walther’s Cornerstone Piping Kit 933-3114, which has a myriad of different sizes and shapes of piping, valves, gates, elbows and such. Or you can use the plastic sprues from your model kits. Hardwood dowels are available from hobby shops and are excellent for long runs.
- Q: Why are some passenger stations called Union Stations?
- A: Mainly because most "Union" stations were used by multiple railroads and are a union of different lines.
- Q: I would like to get a mentor to help me design my layout and solve some problems, and generally guide me in the hobby?
- A: The Member Aid Chair contacted people in his local area and got the member the assistance he needed.
