Call for Candidates - 2021 Board of Directors Election

The Piedmont Division is looking for individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors. The  following positions are open:  Director of Operations, Director of Finance, Director at Large (4). Terms for all positions are two years and begin January 1, 2022. You must contact Election Chair Chuck Hoesch by September 30 to have your name placed on the ballot.

A member must be in good standing to hold office.  Good standing means that the member's due are maintained current.  The member must hold a regular, associate (does not receive NMRA Magazine), life, or student membership. 

In addition, an elected Officer or Director shall not hold more than two consecutive terms in the same office. Members shall not hold more than one BOD position at the same time nor shall any elected officer or director serve more than eight (8) consecutive years on the BOD.

If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors please submit a candidate statement that includes a short biography and why you should be considered, and a passport-size photo for the ballot to Chuck Hoesch, Elections Chair, at elections@piedmont-div.org.

If you decide to run after September 30,  you must run as a write-in candidate.  Your name will not be placed on the ballot and your candidate  statement will not be posted on the website.
