The GGF&W is a Narrow Gauge Railway of the mid-20th century era. The Mainline consists of approximately 250 ft of Nickel Silver rail which is laid on natural ballast, and can be operated as either two independent loops, or a point to point operation. Nine turnouts allow passing and storage of rolling stock, as well as serving the three primary industries on the railway; The Lucky Lady Pyrite Mine, The No Bull Cattle Company, and The Clearcut timber Company. The town of Dalton is connected by trolley to the mill. The station at Durango is the division point and connection from the outer to the inner loop. All operation is track power via Aristo Crest Radio control.
