This is a free-lanced layout that emphasizes all things southern! From Southern Railway and L&N trains to a charming southern town that features a busy industrial area not far from the “olde southern main street” with the memorial statue…. to the barn that invites you to “See Rock City”. There are a lot of trees all over the steep hills with a lot of exposed rock. Trains disappear into tunnels, travel through walls, and pop out of tunnels on the other side of the layout. Most of the buildings are wired for light. There is a repair facility with a round-house, fueling area, and sand towers. No southern community is complete without the farmers co-op and grain elevator. While you visit my ideal southern scene you might as well go fishin’ in the lake near the railway bridge… “Y’all come and stay a while”
