See It On The Map

Take I-85 north to 316 and take it south past 78; or take 78 to 316. Once you are on 316 south of 78, go past the Oconee Connector and get into the far right lane. This will take you onto Loop 10 south. Take this to the South Milledge exit and turn right on South Milledge. Follow this a few miles into the country until it ends at Whitehall Road. Turn left on Whitehall Road and drive a few miles to you come to the first traffic right. Turn right at the light onto Barnett Shoals Road. Take the third left onto Old Lexington Road and then the second left onto Crestwood Drive. 445 is the fifth house on the right. Come to the back yard.

Layout at a Glance

The LT&S serves six towns and both logging and mining interests. The loop-to-loop track design includes a stream, a pond, a waterfall, tunnels through ridges, a 12 foot concrete viaduct, over 70' of trestle, and a live scale forest. All steam roster. (mostly resembles eastern narrow gauge, early 1900's)
