Layout at a Glance

In 2006 we attended the Piedmont Pilgrimage. Inspired by all of the fine project we started our own adventure. As a result we selected the Marklin system and modeled central Germany. Although not from that area we all have spent many days traveling thought Europe and enjoying their train systems. The Bohemian Forest comprises heavily forested mountains with average heights of 800-1400 meters. The range is one of the oldest in Europe, and its mountains are eroded into round forms with few rocky parts. This is a freelanced interpretation of that region.
