The layout is located in south Fayette County, about 40 minutes south of the Atlanta airport or from Bob Branin's Riverdale Station hobby shop.

From Atlanta, take I-75 south past I-285 near the airport. Exit onto Georgia Highway 85 (not to be confused with I-85) which is marked for Riverdale and Columbus. Continue south on Georgia 85 past Riverdale Station and the city of Riverdale. Continue south into Fayetteville.
About a mile south of the Fayette courthouse square, watch for a Publix grocery store on your left. A Kroger will be on your right.)
Turn left onto Georgia Highway 92 south. (there is a traffic light at the intersection.) Stay on Georgia Highway 92 about nine miles. You will go through the small communities of Inman and Woolsey.
Watch for a rural BP station on your left marked as 'Flint River Feed' Store and a small Amoco station marked as 'County Line Store'. (You are obviously in rural Georgia now.) Turn right onto Lowery Road. (If you have crossed into Spalding County you have gone too far on Georgia 92.)
Go about one-quarter mile on Lowery.
Turn onto the first paved street on your left, which is Crabapple Road. On Crabapple, take the first right, which is also marked Crabapple. (The street is actually shaped like the letter 'P'.) Proceed to 340 Crabapple and turn into the gravel driveway. Do not be alarmed if it looks like you're on the set of 'Deliverance.'

GPS users can lock in on 340 Crabapple Road, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215. (Be sure you do not lock in Crabapple LANE, which is located in another part of the county.)

Layout at a Glance

All the depravity of rural Georgia has been captured in this emulation of the prototype G&F, a railroad known for bankruptcy, prostitution and moonshine. It features 15 towns and 55 on-line customers. Sound-equipped engines are custom painted. Southern took over the railroad in 1963, but the layout is based on the premise of “what if they got disgusted and decided to sell it back to some local investors?” The highly-detailed layout features some things you don’t normally see modeled: abandoned railroad shops, a vomitorium, bestiality and poverty. A twisted sense of humor is recommended for visitors.
