Layout at a Glance

The Southeastern Railway Museum (SRM) is proud to participate in the Annual Piedmont Pilgrimage. The museum will be open at no charge to members of the Piedmont Division and discounted to non-members with the coupon from this Piedmont Pilgrimage ad  November 5-8, 2009. We invite you to take an opportunity to visit the Georgia & Tennessee Railroad and other exhibits at the Southeastern Railway Museum (SRM). The G&T was designed and built by the late Len Purdy, and has been restored by members of the Piedmont Division, NMRA. It has been seen in many venues over the years.

The Southeastern Railway Museum occupies a 34-acre site in Duluth, Georgia, in northeast suburban Atlanta. Operating since 1970, SRM features about 90 items of rolling stock including historic Pullman cars and classic steam locomotives. It is owned and operated by the Atlanta Chapter -- National Railway Historical Society. The museum is staffed almost completely with volunteers and they appreciate donations to assist with maintenance and operations activities. Present the your Piedmont membership card or the accompanying coupon for discounted admission to the museum! Visit the Southeastern Railway Museum website for directions at www.srmduluth.org
