Division Meeting

Tue, 06/11/2019 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Clinic:  Gerry Leone, MMR.  Gerry will introduce his Bona Vista Railroad which has been seen in over a dozen videos and articles.

Gerry will be showing you a town-by-town view of the layout, as well as the trackplan and some construction shots.  And if all goes as planned, this clinic will be the world premiere of a video of the layout shot by the Model Railroader Video Plus crew last Fall.   We’ll also take a quick behind-the-scenes peek at Gerry’s monthly show on MRVP, “Off the Rails.”

Gerry Leone Clinic Flyer

Bring and Brag:  Snow plows, rotary blowers, and other snow fighting equipment.  Gerry just finished suffering through another "teeth-chattering" Minnesota winter.  Let's give Gerry's Bona Vista Railroad a hand because the North Star State's next winter is just around the corner!

About Gerry Leone

Gerry originally joined the NMRA in 1977 but left in the mid-1980s when the lure of playing in a weekend rock band overtook his love of model railroading.  He rejoined in 1999.  In 2002 he became editor of the Twin Cities Division’s newsletter, and in 2004 found himself simultaneously editing the Thousand Lakes Region’s newsletter.  He also served on the boards of both the Division and Region.

Photo contests are held in conjunction with the model contests.  There are four categories -- B&W model, color model, B&W prototype, and color prototype.  Photos should be mounted on matte material.  Minimum print size is 5" x 7".  Minimum mount size is 8" x 10". A contest entry sheet must accompany each entry.
