- Why do I need Adobe® Reader® to view the Timetable?
- The web version of the Timetable is published in Adobe® pdf format. Portable Document Format (pdf) is a file format that can be read using Adobe® Reader®. Adobe® Reader® is a free program that can be downloaded from Adobe®.
- Why is the Timetable in PDF format? Why not Word or WordPerfect?
- There are a couple of reasons:
- 1. Portable Document format (pdf) is a widely-used format that can be used on any computer with Adobe® Reader®. The Timetable is created using Microsoft Publisher, then converted to pdf format. In order to read the Timetable in its original format, you would need Publisher installed on your computer. Publisher is not free.
- 2. Files in pdf format are much smaller than the original (Publisher, Word, etc.) file. The Q3, 2004 Timetable is just over 3 MB in Publisher format. The pdf version is 869kb. The smaller file enables much faster downloads.
- Where can I get Adobe® Reader®?
- Directly from Adobe®. Click the Get Adobe® Reader® button on the Timetable page. This is a free, one-time download.
- Can you email me when the next Timetable is ready?
- Absolutely. Add your name to the Timetable Mailing List. We will send an email whenever a new edition of the Timetable is available.
- Why isn't the Timetable in color?
- The first all-color, e-Timetable was the xx, 200x edition. Earlier editions are pdf versions of the black and white print edition.
- I don't want to view the Timetable while I am online, just download it. Can I do that?
- Yes. Right-click on the edition to download the Timetable directly to your computer.
